A community landmark over a century in the making
The Okanagan Mission Community Hall Association (OMCHA) has been a gathering place for the Mission community since its founding in 1937. What began as a local sports and social club more than a century ago has grown into a beloved neighbourhood institution — home to weddings, celebrations, community events, and everything in between.
Our landmark Big Red Barn and the smaller Scout Hall sit at 4409 Lakeshore Road, where generations of Okanagan Mission families have come together to connect, celebrate, and build community. We are a registered charity, run by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by valued community partners.

Be part of something that matters
The Okanagan Mission Community Hall Association is only as strong as the community behind it — and there are many ways to be part of it.
Join the Association and stay connected to your community. Members receive updates on hall programs, events, and annual general meetings. Membership dues are $10 for the year.
Join our team of dedicated volunteers. We support everything from event setup and fundraising to facility maintenance and community programs. Every hour makes a real difference.
Board members play a hands-on role in guiding the Association's direction and long-term sustainability. We welcome community-minded individuals at every AGM.
Annual General Meetings for all members of OMCHA usually happen in the Spring.
